BrightCam™ is the XSI name for a family of fast-shuttered instruments that convert patterns of radiation to intensified visible-light images in real- time.These instruments can detect an image UV through x-ray photons or energetic charged particles. The BrightCam™ units feature four independently shuttered regions to provide four images (such s successive stop-motion frames) with exposure times as short as 100ps. The fourth-generation BrightCam™-IV, the product of six years of development in ultra-fast image technology, is now available for general laboratory use.
